I love the end of a semester

I am enjoying the best day ever! It's like the supreme combination of luxurious and productive. I took a sweet-smelling, bubbly bath while playing sudoku. Then I put on the coziest pajamas I could find and cleaned the kitchen. (You're welcome, Chase). Then I got the laundry started. And I went back to the kitchen and got some beef stew going. I noticed that it was awfully quiet around the apartment, so I turned on Pandora and let her serenade me with soothing sounds of my man, Jack Johnson. Then I thought, hey... sunflower seed bread would go great with beef stew. So I got the bread machine out and got that started too.

All day, the clouds kept threatening rain. If we were in Tallahassee, the clouds wouldn't threaten, they would deliver. But we're in Orlando. And the dark rain clouds just tease and roll on to rain somewhere else. But it did sprinkle for about 15 minutes. So I enjoyed it while it lasted. God, I'd give anything for a full on rainstorm. I've been so deprived here in central Florida. Anyway, then I hung up the laundry and cleaned the kitchen a second time. This might not sound amazing to many people.... but I really detest cleaning the kitchen. Especially twice in one day.

After weeks of neglecting my household duties, I thought it was time to whip it all into shape. I mean, I do have a two week break approaching and all my finals are done. Just some classes to attend and a few assignments to turn in.

So my wonderfully luxurious day isn't even over yet. We're going to a friend's for wine and cheese tonight. Look at me, I'm being social! I think we'll have a great time. Perhaps tomorrow I can finish the assignment I was supposed to do today. Ah well... there is always Saturday!
