Regret stinks...

sigh.... I really dislike big, scary, comprehensive tests.... especially when I don't spend any time reviewing for them! oops.... looks like I'll be sleeping with the review book under my pillow in hopes osmosis will work its magic. I think I might pass... but it will be by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin.

I owe this man

I finally got to meet the man who I owe all the happiness in my life to; the man who convinced Chase to get his graduate degree at FSU.....and the rest is history. Thank you, Col. Craven for being persistent!

Laura's first!

Well, I popped Laura's fondue cherry! It had to be done. And we celebrated her engagement. Congrats! 

Florida crackers and the central Florida fair

Chase and I visited the fair today, and it lived up to my expectations. There were excellent 4-H exhibits (with a mini golf course), livestock, a RODEO!, deep fried food galore, spinning rides, school art exhibits, and a handsome man by my side.

Seeing as how there were deep fried Reese's cups and smores tacos, we probably found and consumed the healthiest fair food there. Our first stop was to get the grilled corn on the cob. It started healthy till she dipped it in a crock pot of melted butter. Then we found a Thai food vender and got red curry. On our way out, I had to have a frozen banana, dipped in chocolate, and covered in SPRINKLES. It was a good day for food. But at least nothing was deep fried!
